‘Mass Effect 4’ developer reveals announcement strategies

Aaryn Flynn has revealed some of the announcement plans in regards to the tentatively-titled “Mass Effect 4.” According to a report from Motoring Crunch on April 3,Bioware won’t be announcing everything at once in regards to the next installment of the popular role-playing series.

Instead, the development team is planning to spread out the reveals. One of the methods is through developer’s diaries. These posts and videos from Bioware usually focus on a specific element of a software product instead of providing more general details.

Mass Effect 4” was confirmed to exist in 2012 although the development for the project did not go into full gear until March of 2013. A few key members from the development team hinted that the new title will be different than the prior installments as the story won’t be based on Commander Shepard. A few gameplay changes have been teased as well.

Bioware will likely reveal more details on “Mass Effect 4,” which is being built on the same Frostbite 3 graphics engine as the upcoming “Dragon Age Inquisition,” at this year’s Electronic Entertainment Expo. The big gaming event is going to take place in June.
