WHY DO NUGS SUDDENLY APPEAR?

Love is in the air, spring is on the horizon, and birds sing their special song of promise.

Or maybe love is on the ground, winter is still here, and it is dark, and it is cold, and you are eating from the can because who can be bothered with bowls?

Either way, the Valentine’s season stirs the soul.

Perhaps your appreciation of the occasion is ironic. Maybe the anxious hectoring of your mother  drives you forth into the world, in pursuit of fanciful fineries with which to woo your special friends or prospective partners. You might just like video game references.

To help in any case, we offer these sweet nothings to lay bare your feelings and win some hearts.
So from us to you, and then from you to them, a Happy Valentine’s Day.

Mass Effect 4: Andersen’s Time As A Soldier/Spectre? Fans Chime In On Dislike Of A Prequel

Recently over on Reddit one gamer speculated how they would think the story might play out if in Mass Effect 4 the game was to follow Anderson’s time as a soldier/spectre. They said that they were wondering about the game being a prequel and said that they thought there was a lot of potential there. However it seems that many gamers are totally against the idea of Mass Effect 4 being a prequel.

Another user pointed out that this is something that has been done as the first book was about the story of Anderson.

Gamers don’t want to rehash the same old stuff over and over again, as one user pointed out, what’s the point of playing if they know what’s going to happen in the game?

It seems that many gamers don’t care what happened twenty odd years before the first Mass Effect game. They only want to know what happens next, after Mass Effect 3. The game should be about discovery and this can only happen if it is a sequel with a brand new story line. A prequel means that the end of the game has been predetermined.

Mass Effect 4: Blockbuster Callings, New Playgrounds?

Mass Effect 4 is the next big thing coming from Bioware and the fans are on overdrive as they patiently wait for the game’s arrival. Last we’ve heard from the game developer is that Mass Effect 4 is already playable and they are doing a thorough check. In other words they are playing the game.

In a recent Tweet conversation between Mike Gamble and Yanick Roy, the former was astounded by the looks of the game. Gamble revealed that there are new level environments and they all look superb.

On top of that, Bioware has returned to announce Mass Effect 4’s progress. It seems that the game developer is preparing to produce a trailer for the game. This is a huge sign for the gaming industry as an official trailer basically means a release date will be revealed.

Apart from that, the team of developers are planning on a skiing trip this weekend. For the fans, that doesn’t sound great at all as it translate to a two days’ long delay. Nevertheless, they could use a little break. Heck, it is also healthy for the game.

At the moment, there isn’t a release date attached to Mass Effect 4. At this rate, we may very well get the game sometime this year. Perhaps that upcoming trailer will reveal the date of arrival.

Mass Effect 4 Details Confirmed Further

One of the biggest franchises in gaming history is set to see a fourth sequel added to it. If you’ve guessed Mass Effect 4, then you’re right. It is no secret that Bioware is busy developing the next Mass Effect title. However, not many know that Mass Effect 4 has nothing to do with the first Mass Effect trilogy.

Marc Walters confirms that Mass Effect 4 will be a fresh start with a whole new storyline. The lead writer added that a brand new protagonist will be running the show in this upcoming title. Walters revealed that the game developers discussed about this and agreed that Commander Shepard will face the axe.

It is not just with the famous protagonist from the first trilogy. The axing includes just about anything and everything related to Commander Shepard. Heck, it won’t even be called Mass Effect 4.

Fans of the franchise are disappointed as the protagonist they have played and loved didn’t get the ending it deserved in Mass Effect 3. In spite of that, an extended DLC was introduced to fulfil the fans’ demands.

Even the developers felt that is the appropriate ending for a great trilogy. Walters revealed that Mass Effect 3’s ending is the most logical approach and majority of the fans agrees with him. On the other hand, the minority has been emotional about it.

As for the storyline coming to Mass Effect 4, nothing has been revealed as of yet. Nevertheless, fans do hope that this fresh start will make them forget about Commander Shepard.

When is Mass Effect 4 Possibly Coming?

The Mass Effect is a series of role playing games that are filled with so much adventure.

It is played through a third person shooter and was developed by a game developer company that is based in Canada, which is Bioware.

The game was released for game console devices, such as the PlayStation 3 and Xbox, as well as for Microsoft Windows. The third installment, which is the Mass Effect 3, was released for Wii U.

The first game that is on the trilogy is about Commander Shepard whose mission is to save the galaxy from a race of mechanical beings that are collectively named in the game as the Reapers, along with its followers. With the success of the Mass Effect 3, Bioware is now considering releasing another sequel to the game, the Mass Effect 4.

Discreet

While there are lots of rumors circulating all over the net about the details of the upcoming Mass Effect game, especially its possible plot line, Bioware is very discreet about it. Although they have been vocal about their plans to come up with the 4thedition of the game, they never made any confirmation on the actual release date and they did not even mention anything about the gameplay and other details. But then, some representatives of the company are keen to release some teasers through their Twitter account and would inform fans that this new game is definitely ambitious and beautiful.

Next Generation Consoles

Another rumor that is circulating all over the net is the platform of the game. It was said that the game will likely be for the next generation consoles and that the Xbox 360 as well as the PS3 might be able to get the game to work.

Next, the Mass Effect 4 will not be all about Captain Shepard. According to Bioware, Shepard’s final moment already took place in the Mass Effect 3 so you will not be seeing him on this fourth installment of the game. Furthermore, fans have been demanding for a new character for Mass Effect 4 and according to one of the members of the development team, they are very much aware of what the people want and they are giving exactly what they want.

Something Different

The fact that they are putting in a new character for the Mass Effect 4 is a sign that Bioware is indeed trying to create something different this time around. It is also obvious that the Reapers, which are integral to the other three games, might not play a major role on the game at all. Bioware indeed wants to expand the vast universe that they have created for Mass Effect and they will prove this on the Mass Effect 4.

There are already rumors spreading all over the World Wide Web that the Mass Effect 4 will be out in the autumn of 2014. Whether this rumor is true or not, one thing is for sure – Mass Effect fanatics have been eagerly anticipating this game since it was first announced.
